companies and order final reading. Cancel homeowner’s insurance

your closing. Bring driver’s license to closing. If a Buyer: Make arrangements for homeowner’s insurance as soon as possible. When a closing date has been scheduled, contact utility companies and have them placed in your name effective on your closing date. Bring cashier’s check & driver’s license to closing.If a Renter: Make arrangements for renter’s insurance before occupancy. Contact utility companies and have them placed in your name effective on your move-in date. Bring cashier’s check or money order for the first month's rent to our office when you collect the keys. If a Landlord: Contact utility companies and order final reading for your renter's move-in date, but no later than 3 days after your new your renter's move-in. If you have a homeowner’s insurance policy, contact your agent to change it to a Landlord's (Dwelling) policy.

Proof of insurance must be shown. Auto ID number must be verified. This may be picked up at the Tax collector’s office.
